Introduction & features of Aluminum Shell IF Furnace

  The Aluminum Shell IF Furnace belongs to the intermediate frequency furnace, also known as the core-free induction furnace. It is a kind of frequency conversion device which transforms the three-phase power frequency current into the single-phase intermediate frequency current. The equipment is composed of a power cabinet, compensation capacitor, aluminum shell induction furnace body, reducer, the crucible, connecting copper row, and cooling tower. The Shell IF Furnace is a series circuit of an inverter, charging the capacitor through the reactor to ensure stable voltage output of the inverter. At the same time, due to the existence of capacitance, it can prevent the high-order harmonic feedback of the inverter to the power grid, so there is no harmonic harm to the power grid. Besides, the device is a rectifying full output circuit, and the power factor is always above 95%.Series inverter using frequency modulation, that is, by changing the inverter frequency to adjust the power of the equipment, rectifier part of the thyristor completely in the open state. In the process of intermediate frequency electric furnace drying and later insulation, the thyristor is still in full operation, which greatly improves the power factor of the equipment and prevents the pollution of high order harmonics to the power grid.
