The coil’s cooling water is the lifeline of the induction coil. The electrical conductivity of the water, the channel limitation, and the recirculation temperature of the cooling water all play important roles in the life cycle of the inductor. Here are some tips to get the most out of your system:
• Check whether the hose is crimped after each installation;
• Use bandage hose;
• Ensure that the water valve is open – do not leave it with the operator;
• Use interlock systems to prevent or detect faults;
• Avoid o-ring connections on waterways;
• Store sensors in a secure location;
• Water conductivity up to 300 mho/cm;
• Better life with conductivity between 20 and 50 mho/cm;
• The hardness of the water should be kept below 100 PPM;
• Maintain a pH of 7.0 to 7.5;
• Wash regularly with quicklime or with a humidifier cleaner.
